Sieve Cup Pessary EF

Medesign's sieve cup pessary EF provides support in cases of mild prolapse of the vagina and uterus and is easy to use.

A prolapse of the uterus and vagina is understood as a change in the position of these organs. This can occur during menopause and earlier, as the pelvic floor muscles and ligaments that anchor the uterus and vagina in the abdomen weaken. However, if the descent exceeds a certain level, symptoms such as a feeling of pressure and descent, lower back pain or problems with urination (initially involuntary urination) or defecation may occur.
Other risk factors for uterine or vaginal prolapse are connective tissue and muscle weakness or previous complicated births and obesity.

Medesign's mesh pessary EF provides support in cases of mild vaginal and uterine prolapse and is easy to handle. The pliable silicone makes it easy to fold and thus easy to insert and remove. As with the ring pessary, the sieve cup pessary can be conveniently placed in the desired position.

The sieve cup pessary EF is more curved and therefore stiffer than the normal sieve cup pessary. The soft silicone makes it easy to insert.

The medesign sieve cup pessary EF fitting set allows the pessary size to be adjusted in the doctor's office and contains the sizes 65, 70, 75 u. 80 mm.
