Emergency blanket

The rescue blanket is an extremely thin, tear-resistant, waterproof and heat ray reflecting foil.

It is suitable for both heat and cold protection in traffic, industrial, skiing or mountain accidents. In Germany, it is a mandatory part of the first-aid kit in motor vehicles. The metallized PET film is used in first aid to protect injured persons from hypothermia, wetness or wind.

In order for the emergency blanket to fulfill its function, it must not lie directly on the skin. Clothing or loose layering must maintain an air cushion that ensures good insulation.
