It is non-drip and water-soluble – making it comfortable for both doctor and patient! It contains no chemical preservatives, thus preventing burning or itching after the examination. With a pH value of 3.7–4.1, Gyn-Lys is optimally adapted to the vaginal pH.

Gyn-Lys has excellent sprite properties and spreads very easily. The doctor performs the examination in the usual way, without the risk of altering the cells in the collected smears. Unlike the previously used oily lubricants, Gyn-Lys, being water-based, does not distort the cytological smears.

The application is extremely simple:
Before the examination, moisten the speculum and glove tips with a little Gyn-Lys.

During vaginal ultrasound examinations, the protective sheath is lightly moistened with Gyn-Lys. This ensures smooth gliding of the transducer and optimal coupling of the ultrasound probe, resulting in sonograms of the highest quality and diagnostic accuracy.
