The innovative medesign vaginal dilators offer, for the first time, a gentle way to preserve or restore the vagina's ability to engage in intercourse after gynecological-oncological surgery or radiation therapy. Available in various diameters and lengths, the vaginal dilators are made of lightweight plastic that is hygienically sound and easy to clean.
The special shape and mushroom-shaped head guarantee a secure fit. The vaginal dilator is worn like a tampon. An inert (Ladysoft) or estrogen-containing lubricant is used for insertion. Vaginal dilators of increasing sizes gently stretch and restore the vagina.
