A uterine and vaginal prolapse refers to the change in the position of these organs. This can occur during menopause, as the pelvic floor muscles and ligaments that anchor the uterus and vagina in the abdominal cavity weaken. If the prolapse exceeds a certain degree, it can lead to symptoms such as a feeling of pressure and sagging, lower back pain, or problems with urination or bowel movements.
The medesign sieve cup pessary helps with mild vaginal and uterine prolapse. Made of supple silicone, it is easily foldable, making insertion and removal simple. Like a ring pessary, the sieve cup pessary can be easily positioned as needed. It can also be inserted upside down.
The sieve tray adjustment set allows for adjustment of the pessary size in the doctor's office and includes sizes 65, 70, 75 and 80 mm.
