Specolux is an easy-to-use small device for illuminating the vagina. It facilitates the work by bringing the light to where it is needed. By simple and quick mounting on the standard speculum Cusco (normal and Swiss model), the Specolux enables optimal lighting conditions.

This optimal illumination enables better diagnostics, e.g. easy assessment of inflammatory changes or other cellular changes. Disease foci are detected at an early stage, thus increasing the chances of success for appropriate measures. Stress reduction due to optimal lighting conditions, no slipping or shaking of the light source and no impairment of the diagnosis due to poor lighting conditions. Specolux fully illuminates the examination room without a delimited area. It always provides optimal lighting conditions in the line of sight without obstructions and does not cause shadows. The light is of good quality and long burning time and does not cause heating of the tissue during use.

With Specolux, you no longer need to pay attention to the light direction, it is always optimal. Specolux fits on all standard speculas Cusco (normal and Swiss model).

Specolux can be attached to a Cusco type speculum with side screw: It is hooked onto the rear hinge screw in such a way that the LED faces the mirrors. By pulling the slider, it can be clamped to the handle. Then turn the locking screw to activate the illumination.
