Description
Rectal disorders are common, affecting almost half of all adults. Surgical treatment of anal or rectal fistulas or hemorrhoids provides relief. However, this can sometimes cause narrowing of the anal canal, leading to pain during bowel movements.
A conservative treatment method for relaxing and stretching the anal canal and its muscles is the daily use of an anal dilator. conical silicone anal dilators It serves to gently widen the anal canal and sphincter muscle, as well as to improve its elasticity.
The included lubricant (medilys by medesign) allows for easy and gentle insertion.
As an additional exercise for the sphincter muscle, firmly squeeze it several times against the resistance of the anal dilator. This leads to a strengthening of the sphincter muscle and a trained pelvic floor musculature.

For first-time use, please strictly follow the doctor's instructions. Apply approximately 2 cm of lubricant to the tip of the anal dilator and insert it into the anus while lying relaxed on your side with your knees bent or while lying relaxed on your back. Only insert the dilator as far as is comfortable. With twice-daily use, you will soon be able to insert it a little further each time. Finally, it should remain in the anal canal – as deeply as possible – for about 3 minutes.
Cleaning the anal dilator with soap and water is sufficient. Then rinse with clean water and let it dry.
