Scope and intended purpose:
Unlike previously used oil-based lubricants for vaginal examinations, Gyn-Lys, a water-based lubricant with nourishing glycerin, does not alter the cytological results of smears. medesign Gyn-Lys lubricant facilitates every vaginal examination and produces excellent ultrasound images. Gyn-Lys is non-drip and water-soluble – comfortable for both doctor and patient! With a pH value of 3.8–4.1, Gyn-Lys is optimally adapted to the vaginal pH. Gyn-Lys spreads easily and is very easy to apply.
Instructions for use:
Lightly moisten the speculum and glove tips with Gyn-Lys. During vaginal ultrasound examination, the protective sheath is lightly moistened with Gyn-Lys.
Durability:
Once opened, it can be stored for at least 6 months.
