Description

For bath additives and compresses. Supports the treatment of rheumatic complaints, sciatica, tension, joint problems, colic and lumbago.

Hay flowers are the blossoms of various grasses that grow in meadows. Laboratory tests have shown that a handful of hay flowers contains approximately 50 different flower species. Due to this high diversity, hay flowers contain many different natural active ingredients that benefit the body.

Hay flowers Hay flowers are considered an old home remedy, successfully used by Father Kneipp. They provide support for rheumatic complaints, sciatica, muscle tension, joint problems, colic, and lumbago, promote metabolism, soothe, and detoxify. Hay flower applications are therefore considered a true source of well-being, relaxation, and health.

The warmth causes the hay flowers to release their diverse active ingredients and essential oils, which are absorbed through the skin and respiration, thus exerting their effects in two ways.

Further information

Application:
A decoction can be made from the hay flowers, which can be used as a bath additive or for compresses.

Bath additive: Pour 1 liter of cold water over 100g of hay flowers and bring to a boil. Let the infusion steep for about 30 minutes, then strain and add it to your bathwater. The ideal bath temperature is 35-38°C, and the bath should last between 10 and 15 minutes. To allow the bath to have its optimal relaxing effect, you should then rest in bed, warmly covered, for at least an hour.
Hay flower wraps: To do this, prepare the hay flower decoction as described above and dip a linen cloth (z.B. (Wrap in a dish towel). Place this compress directly on the painful area, then cover it with a hand towel and then a warm blanket.
Optimal exposure time: approximately 1 hour

Contents: Dried hay flowers from organic farming, not sprayed
