medesign Lanolin Lanolin is a natural product obtained from the wool fleece of sheep after shearing. The "wool grease" is extracted from the washing water of the wool and then purified for the production of lanolin.
Lanolin penetrates the stratum corneum, is deposited in the epidermis, and binds water there in the form of microscopic droplets. This reduces water loss, which is particularly beneficial for dry skin.
