The medesign rapeseed pillow is a traditional home remedy and works similarly to a hot water bottle. It is often referred to as a "dry hot water bottle" for this reason. The dry rapeseeds inside the pillow are heated and, compared to a conventional hot water bottle, can retain and release heat for significantly longer. The rapeseed pillow adapts perfectly to the body's shape, thus ensuring optimal heat distribution. Warming:
The rapeseed pillow is heated in the oven at a maximum of 100°C. In the microwave (without grill or convection function => (Fire hazard!) Start with the lowest setting and increase the temperature if necessary until the pillow is comfortably warm.
(Please refer to your microwave's instruction manual.) If less heat is required, the pillow can also be placed on a radiator.
Cold application:
To do this, simply cool the rapeseed pillow in the refrigerator or freezer to the desired temperature.
