Do not use chemicals for cleaning.

Do not use household or dish detergents.

It is not necessary to boil the pessary.

Do not put it in the microwave.

What do I do if the pessary does not stop the

leakage of urine?

If the inserted pessary does not stop the leakage of urine, the placement of the

calotte has to be checked or you might have to change to a different pessary

size or model.

Pessary Care?

Clean the Cramer Pessary with lukewarm water and soap or a mild washing

lotion such as Femsoft after removal. Subsequently rinse and leave to dry.

Disinfection is usually not necessary. Wash your hands again after cleaning

the pessary.

For added support for the cleaning and care of you intimate area, use e.g.

Femsoft Intimate Wash – a specially developed washing lotion with whey and

stinging nettle as a basis and a low pH-value (3.8 - 4). Subsequently wash your

hands again.

Disposal?

medesign pessaries are made from certified medical silicone and can be dis-

posed of in household waste. The silicone is not biodegradable and should

therefore not be disposed of in the toilet.
