The medesign ear cleaner allows for gentle cleaning of the outer ear canal without the risk of clogging it.
The ear canal is self-regulating. The skin releases oily substances that keep the delicate membranes and sensitive skin areas supple and nourished. If too much of this oil is produced, earwax can cause blockages in the outer ear canal.
Standard cotton swabs are more harmful than helpful for cleaning. They push excess earwax deeper into the ear canal instead of removing it. This can lead to a blocked ear canal, which then needs to be treated by a doctor.
