The specific use of massage to relieve discomfort has its origins very likely in Eastern Africa and Asia (Egypt, China, Persia). The first mentions are found in the Chinese Huáng Dì, who describes massage handles and gymnastic exercises as early as 2600 BC. In connection with essential oils and herbs there is also early evidence in Indian Ayurveda. Via the Greek physician Hippocrates (460-375 BC), massage finally reached Europe.

Massage oil 'neutral' consists of pure jojoba oil and does not contain any fragrance additives. By adding fragrance oils, you can create your own individual massage oil.
