Apply about 2 cm of lubricant to the tip of the vaginal dilator (such as Ladysoft lubricant from medesign) and insert it into the vagina in a relaxed side position with bent knees or in a relaxed back position. Only push the cone forward as far as it does not hurt. If you use it twice a day, you will soon get further and further.

Cleaning the vaginal dilator with soap and water is sufficient. Commercially available disinfectants can also be used as needed.
